מלון פוסאדה וידרארו (Hotel Posada Vidraru) ממוקם במרחק של 200 מ' מסכר וידרארו (Vidraru), על נהר ארגס (Arges River), וכולל מסעדה עם מאכלים רומניים ובינלאומיים. We liked the beds, the location (amazing lake). The pool and sauna were very nice, not crowded at all (2-3 couples at all times), very spacious, with an amazing view (the lake, of course). The pool and sauna are included in the price of the room, while the massage is not. The pool is open from around 8 or 9 AM until 9 PM, so there is plenty of time to visit it. We stayed in a double room with twin beds. We had the usual commodities: slippers, bathrobes, clean towels replaced every day, a kettle, minibar with water and soda. The staff was nice, the food was tasty. There are many activities if you decide to stay in the hotel - pool table, darts, air hockey, playground for children. We also took a boat ride.

Such a quiet and unique location off the Transfagarasan road - which is a great place to see some European Brown Bears. Staff were lovely and friendly (especially the dogs) - the room was on the smaller side, but super comfortable and well designed - the bathroom especially! We also had a lovely balcony overlooking the forest.

מלון פיסקול נגרו - טרנספאגאראסאן (Piscul Negru Hotel - Transfagarasan), השוכן בתחומי רכס הרי הפאגאראס (Fagaras) של הקרפטים (Carpathians), ממוקם על כביש טרנספאגאראסאן (Transfagarasan) המפורסם. Location in the heart of the Transfarahashan, an ideal place for an overnight break or for exploring the beautiful trail. Staff was great and breakfast is great value for money. Also was very helpful and honest to send a forgotten item all the way to Bucharest. Highly recommend!

I was in London 2 weeks ago and thought that breakfast inclus was very good. No comparison! Omelets and crepes made to order, fruit salad in cut glass bowls. Really outstanding. I also very much liked the staff. I was even allowed to practice my Romanian. Tip: Ask first before you try to chat someone up. They might be very busy,

Situated at an altitude of 1,585 metres above sea level in Arefu, close to the Transfagarasan, Romania's most dramatic paved road, Hotel Paraul Capra offers comfortable accommodation in idyllic... Very close to glacial Lake Bâlea, this is the best accommodation on Transfăgărăşan road with stunning view of the waterfall and mountains, which can also be admired from the restaurant while enjoying your meal. The food is well cooked, breakfast is good and varied. Prices are decent considering it's a remote location. The staff was friendly, serving was quick. The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a relaxing time and we will certainly be back.
