Stunningly beautiful property which is like a museum and a wonderful introduction to Thai history and culture. The owners have definitely made this a labour of love - it was originally a guesthouse which underwent huge renovations. The owners offer free transfers to downtown and the bus station. Huge praise goes out to the chef(s). The breakfasts were great but we ate dinner every night and Thai, Chinese and Western menu items were all delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were all very attentive and kind, offering helpful advice and sightseeing tips. We'll be back November 6-16 for Loy Kratong!

Sukhothai old city is an absolute must for any traveler to the north of Thailand, Just as Chiang Mai is supposedly. We didn't have enough time. It is an archeological wonder, ancient and a great education on the beginnings of Siam. Stay 3 nights. First night eat in town. Day 1 Do the museum and main Wat in the old city, and then eat 2nd night outside with the locals at the sidewalk market. On a rattan mat. Wonderful experience. Day 2 Do the main archeological site. Its huge. Rent a bike or golf cart. DONT WALK. Stay out of the sun. Lots of shade, but not everywhere. There are 2 other sites adjacent for separate entry you can tack on if you are really gung ho. Night 3, eat in town again. Laundry, massages, food, is REALLY CHEAP. BUT, you need to take a bus or taxi to get there from New Sukhothai OR PHITSANULOK which is an hour away by car. Which you can get to by train, or plane. If you take the train, its slow, and if you are in 3rd or 2nd class there is NO AIRCONDITIONING AND THE WINDOW AND DOORS ARE OPEN. It could be a great experience, or very bothersome. And dusty and buggy. And noisy. Or take a bus. This is not liable to change anytime soon. Pace yourself, it gets hot as hades in Thailand.

The UNESCO world heritage site in a must see.
The UNESCO world heritage site in a must see. The old ruins are amazing, but for us what was the bonus was the large maintained trees around the park, and water features give an all round old historic, beautiful park atmosphere. There are numerous places to rent bicycles, for very economical rates. We were able to bike around very easily, nice paved roads, and once you are off the main road, traffic is light, so it makes riding around very nice. like a good ride in the country!

First of all, this is a paradise for history lovers and archaeologists. The public security of this small city is very good. In fact, it is not hot for a period of time in the early morning every day, but it is very suitable to cover the quilt.

Its an ancient city and I would highly recommend people to visit it. Most people don't travel to small cities in Thailand but this city has so much ancient history, its a must to understand Thailand and its culture. The king from here started the Thai script and pushed for the language to thrive. Its a must if you visit Thailand.

Sukhothai is a nice city nested in an enchanting greenery region. If you like nature, splendid trees, historical ruins, legends, people smiling, good food and a relaxing atmosphere... it is the right place
Clean and beautiful rooms. Great location - our family could easily walk to the ancient city. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I loved that our room had hand painted designs on the walls. Just those little touches to show they care. The rooms were modern, clean, and had plenty of space. We arrived on a Sunday night so they suggested we visit the ancient city at sunset and visit the marketplace. It was the highlight of the trip. Some restaurants were an 5 minute walk away. We rode our bikes around and visited several of the ruins.
Wonderfully clean, crisp air conditioning, great WiFi, really comfortable bed, clean sheets and bedding and a fantastic swimming pool that was very well maintained, we even had extra towels for the pool in our room.
Bicycle hire is available from the sister hotel a couple of minutes walk from here. We used the bicycles to explore Sukhothai and didn't have any issues.
We'd love to have stayed here a few days longer, but our schedule wouldn't allow it.
I loved Le Charme. The resort is beautiful with a pool and ponds with Lilly pads. It’s is quiet at night and peaceful. The breakfast buffet was very nice. Staff were very helpful with anything I needed. Would definitely stay here again. It was a little bit of a walk to the historical park but I wouldn’t have wanted to be much closer because of how busy it is there. There are also bikes you could use to make it easier to get there
Kwan is a wonderful host. Friendly, kind ,very attentive to our needs. We couldn't ask for more.
Our room was spacious and the location is great, in the heart of the old town. beautiful space outside as well.
There are many services provided by the guesthouse such as laundry, free bikes, a nice buffet selection for guests available the whole day.
Kwan also cooked a brilliant breakfast for us.
We really enjoyed our stay!
Good explanation from the staff on arrival. The option to arrange transportation to the airport and rent a bike. Even breakfast was provided on the last morning when I had an early check out. Nice authentic bungalow with veranda. Location 10 minutes by bike from historic park. Good bikes. I definitely recommend this hotel when visiting Sukhothai.
great hotel. beds were very comfortable and we slept under sheets and comforter. nice big fluffy towels and you could ride a bike for free. the breakfast was amazing with so much to choose from. free water, coffee, tea, chocolate as well as fruit throughout the day. all in all a wonderful stay.
The place is great, in a walking distance of everything. On top of that, free bicycles are available which is key to visit the historical park or even the surroundings.
The staff does everything to help and to please you.
The hotel is 5 minutes walk to take the bus to Bangkok!
The rooms were well-appointed, comfortable, and very clean. The grounds were beautifully kept, and the restaurant was particularly good. The highlight of the hotel, for me personally, was the staff - very courteous, helpful, and proactive.
rooms quiet and with interesting design. good location for the historic park & the amenities of the newer town. food in restaurant was amazing but breakfast was so so - cold eggs in the buffet. bed large & comfortable. owners very sweet
The hotel is very closed to the sightseeing area. Many small restaurants and you can go for walk on the main street in the evening and also on day time . If I will go again to Sukhothai I will choose this Hotel again.
Helpful staff, clean room, amazing pool, nice breakfast (loots of variety, both western and Thai food available); the pick-up and drop-off from / to Old Sukhothai Town really comes in handy; Overall great hotel!!
Serene place near by Sukhothai historical park. A cosy design villa among small lush garden. Large room, large bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower. Staffs are very humble and helpful.
THB60 tuktuk to Ancient City entrance is convenient and reception happy to arrange. Hotel grounds are pleasant, breakfast ok but could add muesli. Good restaurant and cafe walking distance.
This is the best Hotel in Sukhothai! We stayed here before and it was outstanding both times! We will come back for sure! Quiet, clean, pure heaven garden and pool.
Perfect location, near the ruins of Sukhothai. It is extremely convenient to be able to take the bicycles of the hotel. The personal were just the nicest!
